Compensation Survey 2026

Everyone wants compensation data. It’s critical to staff retention and hiring. But some of the problems with compensation data are

• Hard to find

• Costs too much

• Isn’t specific to ophthalmology 

• Is too general to apply to your clinic or your jobs 

• Aggregates all specialties like pediatric and retina

I am proud to announce that I am partnering with Mandy Cansler Consulting to create a FREE compensation survey for ophthalmology practices.  

Phase 1 of this anonymous survey will focus on your top clinical leader and your provider compensation. It will feature:  

• Base pay and incentive pay for Practice Administrators and other leaders (e.g., finance, marketing, HR) 

• Base pay and productivity compensation for providers 

• Filters for practice size and location 

Any practice which submits data for the survey will receive a free copy of our results report.

Who May Participate? 

Any clinical ophthalmology clinic, whether public (university/academic, public health) or private (including corporate, private equity, and independent) may participate. 

What About Staff Compensation?

We plan to release future phase(s) of the survey to cover clinical staff, admin and RCM employees, clinical research, and more. 

What Are the Deadlines? 

The deadline to submit data is May 29th. The final report will be released by June 14th. 

What About Confidentiality? 

Your data and information will not be distributed or sold. It will be completely anonymized and confidential. Your contact information will not be used for marketing purposes other than related to this and future surveys.
